Salary Will Be Merged In Pay Scale-

Salary Will Be Calculated According To The Fitment Factor-
It is expected that, after taking all the opinion from all stakeholders, the government could fix the fitment factor for the employees at 2.86 percent. While making this suggestion, the JCM staff also added that during the 7th Pay Commission, the fitment factor was fixed by the government at 2.57 percent for the employees. Thus, under the 8th Pay Commission, the fitment factor will be increased above that. Apart from that, the information from JCM staff was also that the same fitment factor should be similarly chosen by the government for level 1 and level 6.
This Much Fitment Factor Was Given In The 7th Pay Commission:
For the purpose of the 7th Pay Commission, the fitment factor of 2.57 percent was being given to the level 1 employees by the government; for level 2, it was 2.62 percent, 2.67 percent for level 3, and for level 4, it was 2.72 percent. At the top most end, the fitment factor for the 7th Pay Commission grade employees was pegged at 2.81 percent.

Contrarily, if the fitment factor considered is 2.08, then in such a case, the minimum salary of employees will come Rs.37440, and implementing a fitment factor of 2.86 percent will thrust employees’ salaries to Rs.51480.
